I thought I would put up some recent pictures. Lexy has just learned a couple new things such as spinning in circles on her stomach, but not yet crawling and as you can see in the pic below...she is sticking her tongue between her lips and spitting because she loves the sound of a motor boat! At least that's what i'm guessing. She also loves sitting on the floor and is very good at it and she loves to go to the store and see everything. Oh and most of all, she loves visiting people! Such a social butterfly!

6 Months Old! 14lbs 9oz 2ft 2in Healthy Girl
Lexy is now at the 6 month milestone! We had another visit to the doctor and yes....the dreaded shots again! :( My poor baby girl. She had to get 5 this time (including the liquid one) and she was so brave for the first two, but the second two made her cry so hard that it was a deep belly cry that Robert and I have never heard before! It actually sounded like a laugh, but with a red face and tears. Other than the shots the visit was wonderful. Her doctor says "she is very strong" and "such a happy baby" YAY! :) He also said we can start giving her a variety of solid foods now....look out diapers!
I can't believe how fast she is changing and I am amazed everyday by a different facial expression, sound or movement she can do! She is so happy and fun, we are so lucky to have her. I can't wait to come home from work and see her realize that I am home and give me the biggest smile in the world! She is so cute how she seriously watches everything around her and studies really hard, like she is trying to figure out what is happening and why....I can't imagine what is going through her little brain at this point.
She loves standing up (with help) and grabbing at things, especially Toretto! She will grab handfulls of his hair and rip them out and he just lets her (with a wince of pain and a quick glance back to make sure it is just Lexy). The cats are even starting to notice her and sit by her...just out of her reach...she can't wait to be able to move on her own so she can chase after them! She grunts at them with excitement everytime she spots one and reaches out to grab it!...should be interesting if she actually catches one...
Oh did I mention that she learned how to whine like Toretto? She does this daffy duck sounding "wooh, wooh, woo-ooh, wooh" that we didn't understand at first where she learned it...and then we realized it sounded familiar...like exactly like Toretto's whimpering! Too funny!
Other things she has picked up are learning how to give kisses! I've been kissing her since the day she was born and finally she is starting to try to give kisses back! Of course they are open mouthed and very wet, but they are so cute and wonderful to get! :)
She loves fake coughing and she will fake cough at you and smile and wait to see what you do...and when you cough at her, she smiles and laughs and then will do it again. It's also hilarious to her when you fake sneeze! A simple ah-choo will make her laugh. Oh and speaking of laughs! Her laughs are the best, most wonderful sound you have ever heard and they make you smile so hard and even laugh yourself! I can't describe the emotion that goes through you when you hear your baby laugh a deep belly laugh!!! It's just amazing and makes you go crazy with love inside!

A Visit to State Farm- Congrats Candice!
Lexy got all dressed up to visit her Auntie Candice at her State Farm office grand opening party! Too bad we were way late and missed the party!! :( But at least we got to see Candice's new office and hang out for a while. Thanks Great Aunt Cheryl, Jacqueline, Amanda and Aryton for the very cute outfit! She wears it almost every single day!!! Also, did I mention that he surprised me with Lexy by showing up for lunch at my office last week and totally made my day!! What a thoughtful guy and what a great surprise!
So back to the office visit....Here's Candice and Lexy hard at work at Candice's desk! She loves her good neigh-bear and state farm bib! And YES, Lexy officially has Life Insurance! ;)
Such A Cutie!
I just had to put some more pictures up of my little cutie! I swear, she is getting so big! She is able to stand up now (with you holding her hands) and balance pretty good. She also, cannot keep her two fingers out of her mouth!!
Here she is posing, lips puckered, wearing her princess crown from Aunt Candice and her new outfit that Blanca got her!
We got her a new high chair (that fits into a regular chair) so she can sit at the table with us. There is a tray that attaches, but without it, she can scoot right up to the table and play and read her book while mommy and daddy eat! She is totally content as long as she is included in our activities! :)
This is my favorite picture! We bought her this toy with the gift cards we got from Catherine and Debbie and she LOVES it!! She jumps and plays and screams and smiles....seriously, she has a small party in here! She goes so crazy that she uses all her energy and, as you can see in the picture, passes out! This is the best toy ever invented and I STRONGLY suggest getting one if you have a baby! She is so proud of herself when she is jumping and swaying back and forth and if you put her song on for her to dance to (avril lavigne "i don't like your girlfriend") she will bounce and jump so hard that it sounds like she is going to break it!! :) It is very entertaining!

Lexy's 1st A's Game!
Here are some of the pictures taken at Lexy's very 1st A's game! Candice, Darren and Missy joined us for a tailgate and game on Sunday which was so much fun! Lexy was obviously the cutest baby there all decked out in A's gear and her A's blanket. ;) We had so much fun and the A's even came back to win in the bottom of the 9th (classic A's style) with first a 2 run homerun by Bradley to tie it and then a winning 3 run homer by Cust!! We went crazy! Lexy was even excited watching mommy screaming at the top of her lungs and jumping up and down and shaking with excitement! I'm so happy that her 1st experience was a good one....because there are many many many more games in her future! :)

Alexya's Baptism
Here's Lexy spending quality time with Sushuma (this was their first time meeting each other)...and it's about time! :) Sush needs to visit more often cause Lexy loves her!
Back to Work
She is also getting used to being home with Daddy while Mommy is at work. It is so hard to leave her in the mornings because she just lays there in bed staring at me and watching me get ready for work. I actually enjoy being back at work, but the commute is the worst thing ever. We definately are looking to move now so that I don't have to drive so far (1 1/2 hours each way!). I have to leave so early and by the time I get home after sitting in traffic I am just wiped out. But let me tell you, I love coming home to my cuties!! Robert is so great on his days off at taking care of Lexy and he even is now making these gourmet meals for dinner for me!! I'm loving it! I also love the fact that he takes care of her, just the two of them, because they have totally bonded in a way that never would have happened if I had always been around. He even noticed that he feels different about her...a way that's more protective and responsible for her. So, actually, going back to work has been a blessing in the way of bringing Lexy and her Daddy closer. :)

So Fashionable!
What a movie star wanna be huh?? She is so cute and happy in her sunglasses! I totally thought that she would hate wearing them, but once again...the bunny is happy and likes her glasses. Too funny! :) She also figured out how to do this high pitched scream now. She yells and screams and then smiles at you because she is testing her vocal chords and loves the sound of her own voice!! It is so funny to listen to her...she goes on and on talking and yelling at her toys....
And here's Lexy with Grandma Jeanne at their new home. We had so much fun on our visit!!!

Bath Time Bunny!
We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa in Browns Valley this week and here are some of the pics of Lexy enjoying her bath time...which is her FAVORITE time! She loves her baths so I thought I would share them with everyone. She is almost 4 months old now and is changing so much! She is really laughing now and it's so cute to see and hear her laugh! What a sweetheart she is. She is also teething I think because she can't keep her hands out of her mouth and anything (or anyone :)) that gets near her hands is going into her mouth...it's funny. She also bites down very hard on your finger if you let her and drools all over and chews on her bibs now. She loves to stare at you when you're talking or telling a story, like it's total entertainment for her, then if you make eye contact with her she gets embarassed and smiles at you...like you caught her staring...so funny. I have a zillion stories, but I don't want to go crazy here...so if you want to visit please do...I only have 2 1/2wks till I go back to work and would love visitors before I am totally exhausted again! :) Also, if you didn't receive the baptism evite please let me know!
