Bowling, Birthday Party & Valentine's Day

We did a playdate a few weekends ago with Alexya's 2 BFFs, Sara & Teresa & their moms.  We went to our local bowling alley and let the girls bowl and hang out.  They had a great time and it turned out the bowling alley was packed with kids they knew from school (at 10am!) weird, but it made it even more fun for them...the little socialites! :)

Sonny did a Valentine's Day concert at his preschool and we got to come watch him sing. He's been practicing his songs (singing at the top of his lungs around the house) for a couple months now and couldn't wait for us to come see him at school.  We recorded all his favorite songs, bu the funny part is he got so shy when all the parents were crowded in the room watching...that he just sat there with this worried look on his face.  Poor guy!  But, by the last couple songs he had relaxed and was singing his little heart out so it worked out and he was happy we go to see him.  He loves watching the videos of himself.
After the concert I took Sonny to Alexya's school to volunteer for her class valentine's day party.  It was really fun watching all the 1st graders in her class play games and win prizes and pass out Valentines.  And I loved that alot of them know me so they were excited to see me and Sonny come into their class for the party :)  They had even made Sonny his own "mailbox" for Valentines and some of the kids had given him some.  So sweet!

Last weekend was Robert's Goddaughter, Deziree's, 8th Birthday!  She (pink shirt) had a party with her sister, Jazzlyn (purple shirt), who turned 6 on Sonny's birthday (same day).  Their dad is Seguin, Robert's cousin, who's married to Linda, my friend, and they have 5 girls!  Yes, FIVE daughters!  So we got to see Deziree, 8, Jazlynn, 6, Amaya, 4, Calia, 3 and for the 1st time...

Angelina, 7 months.

Sonny found the only boy toys in the whole house and wouldn't let them go the whole time! :)

This was supposed to be a nice picture, but leave it to my husband and daughter to be goofy.
(Seguin, Robert, Deziree, Alexya and Amaya).
We had a great time and need to see them more often!  There's a lot of LOVE in that house and it felt good to see Seguin and Linda so happy. :) xoxo
