Decorate the Baby's Room!

I found this site that has EVERYTHING I want and more to decorate the baby's room! It's full of Oakland A's merchandise including .... an A's wall clock, an A's baseball shaped rug, an A's piggy bank, A's wallpaper border, A's fuzzy dice and more! Now if only I could find an A's rocking chair! :)

My mother-in-law, Theresa, already found us some A's dresser drawer knobs! And Trish, Caleb's girlfriend, already made us an A's baby blanket! Lauryn even made us the baby's initials "A&H" carved out of wood and painted in yellow and green! So perfect! This is going to be the best baby's room ever! What a lucky kid. :) The A's totally need to win this season...it's meant to be.

Save the Date

I just wanted to give you all a heads up as to when the baby shower will be so you can save the date on your calendars. It will be on Saturday, August 12th and it will be for girls only. Don't worry, Robert is having a seperate get-together/BBQ for the boys.

The end of the 1st Trimester

So I just wanted to give a quick update... I'm officially "showing" that is I have a stomach that I never had before and it's totally weird! I also have two other things that I never had (this size) before that I'm totally LOVING! ;) But, ya, let me just tell you that I can't walk down the hallway at work without people staring and oohing at my belly...I'm not used to so much attention!..this could be really fun!

Other than that I'm having insane cravings for cheese, lemonade, and yes...cheeseburgers!!! I could eat cheeseburgers for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The cravings are something to get used to...but let me tell you...satisfying a pregnant craving is HEAVEN ON EARTH! Bring on the cravings!!:)

Movement!?!

So Robert and I went to visit the doctor again on Friday and had another ultrasound done. Same as last time the baby looks like a bunch of circles, but this time something exciting happened..... The circles MOVED!! As soon as the picture on the screen came into view we could see the big circles for head and body and the little circles for arms moving and wiggling all around! It looked like the baby was trying to run around! We couldn't believe our eyes and just freaked out that the circles are actually an alive and moving baby. What a reality check. My apointment to see if Antonio or Alexya will win is June 28th! We can't wait to find out! :)

Baby's First Pics!

So here are the pictures from my very first sonogram. It's kind of odd looking and actually I was totally surprised that there is so much detail. Time to get up close and personal! It's a little hard to tell what is what. But you can definetely see the shape of the baby forming.More to come soon!

A Rollercoaster Ride...

The last 2 weeks have been very hectic! 2 weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant! At first, I thought it was me being sick again because since that happens all the time. I really didn't think much about it but a few weeks later, it got me thinking. So 9 weeks later, this is where I am. I feel different and not myself. I actually need new clothes now so I guess shopping would be the perk. My friend Debbie said that I should get a blog and document everything that's happening but I didn't want to! But she convinced me that doing it would really keep the important people in my life informed. So here it is. Not much to update on but I will have pics soon. Oh, I almost forgot: baby's due date is November 30th!

PS: To everyone out there who wants to have kids or is in the process, don't steal my names!
