Alexya's 1st Baseball Game!!

Alexya got to play in her 1st Baseball game today!!  Her team is the White Sox and is ALL BOYS!  We knew it was Co-Ed, but were surprised to walk into a dugout and see the bench full of boys.  Oh well, I told her since she's the only girl, it makes her special! :)

she struck out, but her next 2 at bats she hit the ball!  She just got so excited, she forgot to run right away and ended up getting out both times :)

They took turns being catcher and Alexya loved wearing the outfit!

And after the game, when both teams were off the field, Sonny told me he was "going to practice", put a batting helmet on, and Ran the Bases!!  It was so cute! :)  We had a fun day!

 

Clearlake Visit & Facepaint Fun!

 

We had such a fun and busy time at Clearlake!!  I can't believe these are all the pictures I remembered to take!  My Grandma and Grandpa were so much fun!!  We had a great time and every minute of it was packed with stuff to do: games, games, playing, eating, games, playing mini-golf, games, eating and resting! :)

Happy Cousins!! Primo and Kenobi had the best time playing all day long until they dropped...and then getting up and playing some more!

We went to my Goddaughter, Isabel's, B-day party last weekend and there was a Mermaid face painter there!  Lexy and Sonny wanted me to take lots of pictures of their faces before I had to wash them off for bedtime. :)

Alexya took all of these pictures and I had to put them up because for a 5 1/2 yr old with a camera, she did a great job I think!  She seems to have a talent for taking pictures.  All of these are untouched in any way, not even cropped.  I think some of these would look great even blown-up into painting size, but then again, I'm her mom... so maybe I'm biased. ;)  So far she loves, soccer, softball, cheerleading, swimming, school and now photography...kids are so much fun! :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Vacation to Grandma & Grandpa's

One of our visits this summer to Grandma & Grandpa's house.  We got to see my niece, Gabby and my nephew, Emerson, and the kids got to play and hang out together.

...a trip to Grandma & Grandpa's isn't complete without time on the swings.  Lots and lots of singing and swinging! :)

Summer's almost over...

We busted out the slip 'n' slide and let the kids go crazy!  Once they got the hang of it (not just running and falling down, but actually sliding) it was so fun to watch them!  Gotta love the simple days of summer...

 

 

 

Isabel & Zoey's Baptisms! ~My new Goddaughter :)

My new God-daughter, Isabel (right) and her sister, Zoey (left) ready for their big day!  They got to be baptized together and looked so adorable in their matching dresses!  I'm so honored to have been asked to be Isabel's Godmother!  I've watched her grow up from a sweet little baby into a shy, but very fashion savy toddler, and now she's starting Kingergarten!  Her mom, Debbie, is one of my best friends, and I was honored to be in her wedding and now I get the honor of Godmother.  I love Izzy and her sister so much and plan to do my best to be there for her throughout her life...and now she can never get rid of me ;) hehehe.
