Alexya's an Angel!

Alexya's softball team is the Angels!  She got her uniform (#12 again!) and got to be in a parade with the team last Saturday on Opening Day.  Robert volunteered his truck for the parade and all the girls (10 of them) plus 2 coaches jumped in the back to ride and cheer around the JOBL parking lot for the parade.  The girls had so much fun and every time the truck had to stop and start again, they would all fall down from the momentum and start laughing.  It was so cute! :)

Go Angels!
ages 4-6: Alexya, Tateo, Hailey, Jazmine, Kelly, Hannah, Paula, Isabell, Serena & Ilene.
Coach Rafael is on the right, he is awesome!

Sonny, Alexya and Ilene riding one of the rides at the opening day carnival.
Sonny's now wearing Lexy's hat from last year's baseball team because, "that's the team I'm going to be on." :)
The coach from that team is already trying to recruit him...but he hasn't seen him play yet...we still have time ;).

The girls have so much fun together and even though we haven't had an official game yet (only practices and practice games) they are already improving so much!  We are really lucky to have an awesome coach who's tough, but patient and always makes it fun.  He's the champion coach from last year so we are lucky to have him and he obviously knows what he's doing.
I volunteered to do the scorekeeping at each game, which is what I used to do for Stephen & Caleb's little league team and I loved it!  So I'm excited for the games to start.  I'll post a schedule once I have it and everyone is invited to come to any game you can make it to!
Here's to a fun season...Go Angels!
