Tinkerbell's 1st Trick or Treat

We had a great Halloween this year! Alexya got all dressed up as Tinkerbell (complete with tin foil wrapped straw/wand which didn't make it in the pictures). We got to give out candy at Grandma's house and then go trick or treating when daddy got home from work. She got to see all the kids running around the street in their costumes and she was totally in awe of them and curious as to why they were laughing and running and looking so weird!
It was so much fun taking her from door to door! Way more fun than I had anticipated because Alexya actually had fun. She was so cute... the person would open the door and mommy and daddy would say "trick or treat" and the person would give Lexy a piece of candy and she would stare at them and just hold onto the candy like a treasure. Then after we walked away from the door I would hold out her pumpkin bag and say "put it in your bag" and she would just drop it in. Then onto the next house...she would point her wand and scream out in excitement! It was too cute and I was getting emotional and trying not to cry and let Robert see I was tearing up....geeze..I know I know...but I didn't think it would be so fun for her and it hit me so hard that I'm taking my daughter out for her first trick or treating experience. Even Robert had fun..still in his EMT uniform, straight from work, and so proud holding his little squealing tinkerbell daughter.

Dancing Tinkerbell

Now how am I gonna eat all this candy? (75 bags that grandma made to hand out to the kids!)

what a cute tinkerbell! it does look like she had loads of fun. she has the best smile ever! it is that magical 8-11 months which is what i think is the best infant stage. :)
i love all her pics with grandparents. they all looks so much like norman rockwell grandparents. makes me want some like that...

you are so sweet Jessica. Glad to know I'm not the only crybaby. :) I'll probably cry too when I take my baby out to trick-or-treat for the first time. I love her costume...she looks so precious! I can't wait to meet her! what size is she wearing right now?
